Dhaka January 26, 2025:

Bangladesh Open-Source Network (BDOSN) has started working jointly with Connectia, a platform that helps students build professional networks and work on their skill development.

An agreement was signed between them at the BDOSN office yesterday. At this time, Connectia’s Career and Graduate Employability Khan Mostafizur Rahman and BDOSN’s Joint General Secretary Nasir Khan Saikat signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. At this time, Connectia’s Assistant Coordinator Tawfiq Hasan Nayem and BDOSN Coordinator Mosharraf Hossain Tipu and many others were present.

The skill development platform Connectia basically helps students prepare for the job market by testing their skills in several steps such as the Job Readiness Test. Through this, one develops their skills along with the opportunity to create a professional network.

Apart from this, this platform works to get involved in an internship in university life to gain new experiences to build a career. Connectiya is bringing all the internship opportunities of the best institutions in Bangladesh on one platform. Keeping in mind the slogan “Connecting Opportunities”, they are working to advance their careers by enriching them with many more features including career placement, mentoring, lifelong learning and more after the internship.

In this context, Kazi Hasan Robin, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of World University of Bangladesh, said that any student who wants can participate in Connectiya’s free job readiness test to know their skill level. There is no need to pay any fee to participate in this test. BDOSN will do more work with Connectiya in the future, said Nasir Khan Saikat, Joint General Secretary of the organization.
