Dhaka, March 17, 2025:
MV TANAIS DREAM carrying 22,500 metric tons of parboiled rice from India through an open tender and mv HONG LINH 1 carrying 12,500 metric tons of parboiled rice from Vietnam under the G2G agreement (2nd shipment) have arrived at Chittagong Port.
It is to be noted that an agreement has been made to import a total of 100,000 metric tons of rice from Vietnam on a G2G basis. Out of this, 17,800 metric tons of rice from the first shipment has already reached the country.
After testing the samples of rice kept on the ship, the unloading process of the rice has started.
ভারত এবং ভিয়েতনাম থেকে ৩৫ হাজার মেট্রিক টন চাল নিয়ে দু’টি জাহাজ চট্টগ্রাম বন্দরে পৌঁছেছে

উন্মুক্ত দরপত্রের মাধ্যমে ভারত থেকে ২২ হাজার ৫ শত মেট্রিক টন সিদ্ধ চাল নিয়ে mv TANAIS DREAM এবং জি টু জি চুক্তির আওতায় (২য় চালান) ভিয়েতনাম থেকে ১২ হাজার ৫ শত মেট্রিক টন আতপ চাল নিয়ে mv HONG LINH 1 ১ জাহাজ দু’টি চট্টগ্রাম বন্দরে পৌঁছেছে।
উল্লেখ্য, ভিয়েতনাম থেকে জি টু জি ভিত্তিতে মোট ১ লাখ মেট্রিক টন চাল আমদানির চুক্তি হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে প্রথম চালানের ১৭ হাজার ৮ শত মেট্রিক টন চাল ইতোমধ্যে দেশে পৌঁছেছে।
জাহাজে রক্ষিত চালের নমুনা পরীক্ষা শেষে চাল খালাসের কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়েছে।
