Defender of the Fatherland Day was celebrated at the Russian House in Dhaka.
On February 19, 2025, the Russian House in Dhaka hosted a solemn event dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The holiday, which is annually celebrated in Russia as a symbol of military glory, courage and patriotism, gathered students, patriots, freedom fighters, and Russian culture enthusiasts.
After the formal speeches concluded, the audience watched the movie “The Last Battle of the Unknown War” – a deep historical excursion into the events that determined the fate of Russia at key moments in its history, as well as several short episodes dedicated to the history of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The participants of the event highly appreciated the content of the films. After the screening, the guests exchanged views on the importance of preserving the memory of the heroism of their ancestors and the role of such holidays in strengthening national unity.
The Russian House in Dhaka continues to familiarize the residents of Bangladesh with the cultural and historical heritage of Russia, strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples.
New projects are ahead, which will reveal even more facets of the Russian soul.

ঢাকা রাশিয়ান হাউজে পিতৃভূমির প্রতিরক্ষা দিবস উপলক্ষে ১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি এক জমকালো অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।
এই দিবসটি রাশিয়ায় প্রতি বছর সামরিক গৌরব, সাহস ও দেশপ্রেমের প্রতীক হিসেবে উদযাপিত হয় ।
অনুষ্ঠানে শিক্ষার্থী, দেশপ্রেমিক, স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামী ও রুশ সংস্কৃতির উৎসাহীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
আনুষ্ঠানিক বক্তব্য শেষ হওয়ার পরে দর্শনার্থীরা দ্যা লাস্ট ব্যাটেল অব আননোন ওয়ার চলচ্চিত্রটি উপভোগ করেন, যা রাশিয়ার ভাগ্য নির্ধারণকারী
