Excellent Ceramics Group, one of the largest Tiles & sanitary ware manufacturers in Bangladesh recently penned a contract with MetLife to provide insurance facilities to their employees in Bangladesh.
As part of this contract, employees of Excellent Ceramics Group will receive insurance coverage for loss of life, accident, disability, and hospital expenses. The company has selected MetLife as their employee insurance provider due to the insurer’s customized solutions, faster payment of insurance claims and financial strength. Over 870 employees of Excellent Ceramic Group will benefit from the insurance coverage.
Excellent Ceramics Group has been a household name in sanitary ware since 2010 and tiles since 2021. The group has grown and diversified into many successful and impactful ventures earning a leading business status.
In Bangladesh, MetLife provides insurance protection to over 300,000 employees and their dependents of more than 940 organizations. In the year 2024, MetLife policy holders received about BDT 2,895 crore in claims.
The agreement signing was held between Abdul Hakim (Sumon), Managing Director, Excellent Ceramic Group and Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Director & Head of Employee Benefits of MetLife Bangladesh at the MetLife Bangladesh Head Office.
From Excellent Ceramic Group Imran Ahmed, Executive Director and Md Nahidur Rahman, Deputy Manager and HR were also present at the ceremony.
From MetLife Bangladesh Employee Benefits team Monirul Islam, Assistant Director; Mushfiqur Raihan, Assistant Director and S.M. Shahriaz Arafat, Manager were also present at the ceremony.

বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম বৃহত্তর টাইলস ও স্যানিটারি সামগ্রী উৎপাদনকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান এক্সিলেন্ট সিরামিকস গ্রুপ সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশে এর কর্মীদের বীমা সুরক্ষা দিতে মেটলাইফের সাথে চুক্তিবদ্ধ হয়েছে।
চুক্তির অংশ হিসেবে, এক্সিলেন্ট সিরামিকস গ্রুপের কর্মীরা জীবনহানি, দুর্ঘটনা, অক্ষমতা এবং হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা ব্যয়ের ক্ষেত্রে বীমা সুরক্ষা পাবেন। প্রতিষ্ঠানটি ব্যক্তি নির্ভর সমাধান, দ্রুত বীমা দাবি পরিশোধ ও আর্থিক সক্ষমতার কারণে মেটলাইফ বাংলাদেশকে নিজেদের কর্মীদের বীমাদাতা প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে বাছাই করেছে। এক্সিলেন্ট সিরামিকস গ্রুপের ৮৭০ জনেরও বেশি কর্মী এই বীমা সুরক্ষা সুবিধা পাবেন।
২০১০ সাল থেকে সেনিটারি ও ২০২১ থেকে টাইলসের মাধ্যমে বাসাবাড়ির সুপরিচিত নাম হয়ে ওঠে এক্সিলেন্ট সিরামিকস গ্রুপ। একটি নেতৃস্থানীয় ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে বেশকিছু সফল ও ইতিবাচক খাতে নিজেদের কার্যক্রম বিস্তৃত করেছে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি।

মেটলাইফ বাংলাদেশের হেড অফিসে নিজ নিজ প্রতিষ্ঠানের পক্ষে এ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর করেন আব্দুল হাকিম (সুমন), ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টর, এক্সিলেন্ট সিরামিকস গ্রুপ এবং মোহাম্মদ কামরুজ্জামান, ডিরেক্টর অ্যান্ড হেড অব এমপ্লয়ি বেনেফিটস, মেটলাইফ বাংলাদেশ।
এসময় অনুষ্ঠানে এক্সিলেন্ট সিরামিকস গ্রুপ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ইমরান আহমেদ, এক্সিকিউটিভ ডিরেক্টর, এবং মো. নাহিদুর রহমান, ডেপুটি ম্যানেজার অ্যান্ড এইচআর।
এছাড়া, আয়োজনে মেটলাইফ বাংলাদেশের এমপ্লয়ি বেনেফিটস টিম থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মনিরুল ইসলাম, অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট ডিরেক্টর; মুশফিকুর রাইহান, অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট ডিরেক্টর এবং এসএম শাহরিয়াজ আরাফাত, ম্যানেজার।
