Projects should be taken with public involvement and importance in mind : Disaster Management and Relief Advisor

Disaster Management and Relief Advisor Faruk-e-Azam, Bir Pratik said, projects should be taken with public involvement and importance in mind. The type of work done in various projects under this ministry, including TR Kabikha or food in exchange for work, will be investigated. For this reason, all project implementation officers have been transferred. In addition, a three-year work list of the previous workplace has been collected for accountability. In this case, action will be taken against the project implementation officer if irregularities are found.
The advisor said these things in his speech as the chief guest at a view-exchange meeting with officials involved in the Disaster Management and Relief Ministry of all districts of Barisal division at the Barisal Circuit House auditorium today.
Faruk-e-Azam said that allocations have already been made for various projects. Instructions have been given to the officials so that the projects can be completed correctly and within the stipulated time. In addition, the experiences of field-level officers and employees have been heard. Their problems have also been heard. Efforts are being made to solve them accordingly.
In the view-exchange meeting chaired by Barisal Divisional Commissioner Raihan Kawsar, among others, Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Md. Kamrul Hasan, NDC, Director General of the Disaster Management Department Md. Rezayanur Rahman, DIG Manjur Morshed, Deputy Commissioner of Barisal Md. Delwar Hossain, Executive Officer of Hijla Upazila Jahangir Alam, Barisal District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Ranjit Kumar Sarkar and Project Implementation Officer Md. Mashiur Rahman spoke.
