Ad-Din Hospital provides free healthcare to 1,000 patients in Jhenaidah

Dhaka February 22 2025:

A free eye, dental and diabetes healthcare camp has been organized in Abaipur, Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah district under the initiative of Ad-Din Medical College Hospital.


The day-long camp, held at 8 am on Saturday (February 22) at the Abaipur Jamuna Sikder College ground in Shailkupa upazila, provided free healthcare to 1,000 patients from different areas. Attorney General of Bangladesh Md. Asaduzzaman inaugurated the healthcare program as the chief guest.


The program was presided over by Abaipur Jamuna Sikder College Principal Md. Fazlur Rahman, and Ad-Din Foundation Executive Director Dr. Sheikh Mohiuddin and Shailkupa Upazila BNP General Secretary Advocate Humayun Babar Firoz were present as special guests. Also present at the event were Roknuzzaman Riaz, President of Abaipur Jamuna Sikder College, Md. Rabiul Islam, Assistant General Manager of Ad-Din Eye Project, etc.


Dr. Sheikh Mohiuddin said, ‘Ad-Din is working tirelessly to provide healthcare to the people. We want to go to God through service. We are very grateful to be able to provide you with services. We request you to inform others about our services and create opportunities for everyone to take services. That is our interest.’


Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman said, Ad-Din is playing a unique role in healthcare. Ad-Din has made an important contribution alongside the government in various disasters in the country.

People have regained their eyesight by receiving free cataract surgery and other services. It is hoped that their public welfare work will continue.
